Our foundation
Log+Key as the foundation —
custom work on top
We deliberately built Log+Key as a general foundation: checkout, return, history and stocktaking work out of the box — for keys just as for tools, devices or vehicles. On that foundation we build tailor-made solutions for your requirements: connections to control-centre and industry software, integration of electronic locking systems, dedicated feature packages such as photo documentation or terminals right at the vehicle.
And if your requirements call for a fundamentally new approach, we develop the solution from scratch — with the same crew that built Log+Key. The integrations page gives an overview of existing connections.

Answers about our consulting

What does the first consultation cost?
Nothing. The first consultation is a free video call of around 30 minutes: you describe your situation, we ask questions and tell you honestly what we would recommend — even if the answer is that you don’t need new software at all. You book the appointment directly online.

Do we have to use Log+Key for this?
No. The consulting starts with the process, not the product. In many projects Log+Key is the right foundation because it already covers checkout, return and stocktaking — but if your requirements call for a different approach, we also develop a standalone solution.

How does a consulting project work?
First the free initial call. After that we map your processes — usually in one or two workshops, on site or remote — and make a concrete recommendation. Depending on what’s needed, implementation ranges from configuring Log+Key through custom modules and integrations to fully bespoke development. During rollout we support your team until the new process has become routine.

Do you also build fully custom solutions?
Yes. With our digital agency Westwerk we have been developing custom software since 2011. Where it fits, we use Log+Key as the foundation and build tailor-made modules on top — you’ll find examples on the integrations page. If a fundamentally new approach is required, we design and develop the solution from scratch.
